A Flower In A Dark Room

A flower in a dark room,
A forgotten pharaoh sand silent
in his tomb,
An Arras masterpiece incomplete
upon the loom,
The innocent a ropes length and drop
away from doom,
The unborn coldly executed, in the
sanctuary of the womb,
The shadow of a ghostly presence behind
the half closed door,
The wave weary message bearing bottle,
searching for a shore,
The billie- doux lets slip by a go between,
and lost beneath the floor,
The isolated desert bloom that blossoms
once and never more,
An unknown soldier fallen in a foreign field
and ploughed into the ground,
The vixen in the midst of motherhood
at the mercy of the hound,
The heirs to Kingdoms long ago usurped
their destinies uncrowned,
The soul saving grail held by the hand of Christ
now waiting to be found,
All scream in silence from lonely oblivion

As does my love to you for recognition.
